1.0.1

ffmpeg now comes inside the app, so there is nothing else to install, and one command installs the app on Linux.

Gleam Audio now brings its own copy of ffmpeg, which it uses to read and write audio. You no longer need Homebrew, winget or a package manager before the first file. Download the app, open it and drop in a recording.

If you installed ffmpeg only for Gleam Audio, you can remove it.

  • The update bar links to these release notes.
  • On Linux, one command installs the app. See Linux install.
