Hear the original next to the result, see progress on the app icon, keyboard shortcuts, the app opens on your last tool, a way to send feedback, and anonymous usage stats you can turn off.

After Remove noise, Enhance or Convert, each finished file has a Before and After switch next to its play button. Switch while it plays and it jumps to the same moment in the other file.

The result plays first. Pick Before to hear the original again.

While files run, the app icon in the Dock or taskbar fills up as the work goes. When the run ends and Gleam Audio is behind another app, the icon bounces once on a Mac and flashes on Windows.

  • ⌘O adds files.
  • ⌘↩ runs the tool.
  • Esc stops a run, or stops and saves a take while recording.
  • ⌘1 to ⌘9 pick a tool, in the order of the sidebar.

On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl in place of ⌘. Hover over a button to see its shortcut.

Gleam Audio now opens on the tool you used last. Each tool keeps its own settings, so Convert stays at the format and quality you picked.

Cut and Split start fresh, since their marks belong to one file. Record keeps its input and channels, as before.

Help › Send feedback opens an email to us. It has the app’s version and your system filled in at the end, so we know what you run.

Gleam Audio can now send anonymous usage stats, like which tools get used and how often a run fails. They never include your audio, file names or error messages.

  • New installs send them, and the app says so the first time it opens.
  • If you used Gleam Audio before, they stay off. The app asks once whether you want to turn them on.
  • The switch is under Help › Privacy, for either case.

Builds made from the source code never send anything. The full list of what is sent is in the privacy policy.
