1.1.1
Ampliflare Audio is now Gleam Audio, with a new home at gleamaudio.com. The tools are the same. Here is how to move your license and settings over.
A new name
Section titled “A new name”Ampliflare Audio is now called Gleam Audio. Its new home is gleamaudio.com.
Every tool works just as it did in 1.1.0.
Moving from Ampliflare Audio
Section titled “Moving from Ampliflare Audio”Gleam Audio installs as a new app, next to Ampliflare Audio. Ampliflare Audio will not update to it, so download Gleam Audio once.
- Your license key. The same key works in Gleam Audio. In Ampliflare Audio, open Commercial license and click Remove from This Computer. Then click Personal use in Gleam Audio, paste the key and click Activate.
- Your settings. The look, the save folder and the name pattern start from the defaults. Set them again under Appearance and in the bottom bar.
- The old app. Once Gleam Audio is set up, you can remove Ampliflare Audio.
The install command now puts the app in ~/.local/share/gleam-audio, with a
gleam-audio command. To remove the old app, run its uninstall:
curl -fsSL https://static.purplecandy.dev/ampliflare-audio/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash -s -- --uninstall
